A Comparative study on the characteristics of mental health, subjective quality of life and need of the public aid recipient Alcoholics and Non-alcoholics

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of mental health, subjective of life and service needs of the public aic recipient Alcoholics. Also. this study is interested in identifying the prevalence of alcoholism among the public aid recipient participating in rehabilitation program. A total of 123 recipients participated in this study.
The result of this study shows that 56.9% og the public aid recipient participating in rehabilitation program are identified as alcoholism. Recipients with alcoholism scored higher than those without alcoholism in the level of depression diagnosis. Recipients with alcoholism showed significantly lower level of subjective quality of life on family relations and finance. Also recipients with alcoholism showed significantly higher level of service demands for mental health education and service.
In conclusion, this study confirmed that it would be necessary to family service, interpersonal skill training service, mental health education and service for recipients sith alcoholism.
